This was a very busy and successful week at Drummond!
Monday was picture day for the junior high and high school students. Junior high and high school softball played at Blackwell. Junior high lost 7-10 and high school lost 3-4. High school baseball beat Wellston 6-1. Our 3/4th grade basketball played two games at Okarche. 8th and 9th grade FFA members competed in the Fairview Opening Ceremony contest. The freshman team placed 5th in their room and 8th grade creed speaking team placed 5th as well! Congrats!
Tuesday, junior high softball lost to Waukomis 1-9 and high school fell short 6-10. The 3/4th grade basketball teams played two more games at Okarche.
Wednesday FFA had a sporting clays competition in Fort Supply, Student Council members attended OASC District 2 Fall Meeting in Medford, and FCCLA and 4-H had meetings after school.
Thursday, FFA members attended the Oklahoma State Fair Livestock Judging competition. Kendra Dillingham was first overall in the Junior FFA division! High school baseball played Calumet in the Ripley Tournament and lost 0-3.
Friday, high school softball faced Mooreland and won 3-1. High school baseball played in the Ripley Tournament against Frontier and won 6-3, but then lost to Stonewall 4-6. Junior high baseball played at Vici and won 13-3. The 2023-2024 Yearbooks arrived were sent home with students!
Our high school softball team remains ranked #8 with a record of 21-8 and high school baseball is ranked #20 with a record of 11-10. Wish these two teams luck as they start playoffs next week!
